Well-known as one of 2BL's best assets for his always entertaining weekday afternoon radio shows, James is a music fan and musician from way back, having played sax for 80s chart band the Models, as well as played jazz for most of his life.
It's as a jazz muso, singer and raconteur that James will perform today, bringing along a superb band that features Evan Lohning and James Hauptmann.
They'll present a mix of material that covers all the bases, from souljazz and funk to swing and bebop, spiced with James’s wry observations and no doubt quite a few jokes. |
