JULIANE DI SISO

 

Juliane Di Sisto has been singing close to 20 years now. Growing up in picturesque Tasmania, the soul singer began her musical journey at a young age which expanded over the years. From classical music to musical theatre, rock, soul, jazz and latin, Juliane has developed an eclectic taste in music only to find that her passion lies with funk and soul.


Between the years 2002 – 2007, saw Juliane develop her career further through teaching, working professionally at various venues and also moving to Qld to further her studies, completing a Bachelor of Jazz studies.


Returning to Tasmania, Juliane’s style evolved even more so which saw her partake as a contestant on The Voice Australia, season 2 in 2013, successfully getting through the Blind Auditions and joining Ricky Martin’s team. This provided Juliane with a fantastic insight into the world of television and also start a new and exciting journey in music. Working with and meeting inspiring crew and musicians made the experience on The Voice invaluable. Being the only Tasmanian contestant to be chosen to enter The Voice Australia in season 2, the experience of singing in front of a live studio audience, televised and singing in front of 4 established world known artists, Juliane successfully achieved her personal goals and found a new passion for music and cemented the direction she wants to take as an artist.

Having professionally performed throughout Australia with artists including, Rex Goh, Peter Northcote, Jimmy Cupples, David Campbell, Bobby Fox, Ngaiire, and Joseph Calderazzo and also supporting many artists over the course of her career, Juliane now resides in Sydney, which finds her collaborating and performing with various artists and song writers.

Juliane is quickly establishing herself as a versatile vocalist on the Sydney music scene and continues to push the boundaries of her artistic endeavours.
