The world music climate is ripe for Australians making a name for themselves abroad, and Ron E Jones is Australia’s newest export making waves internationally.
Currently based in Sydney, he has spent the last few years jetsetting back and forth to Malaysia & Indonesia where his highly successful artist career has spawned Three #1 singles, heavy radio play, MTV Asia rotation and a loyal fan base. Most notably his breakthrough radio single Tear Us Apart with Malaysian artist Nadhira which took the #1 spot on all major Malaysian English radio stations.
Meanwhile, his career has also flourished as a successful songwriter, working with many international and Australian artists including Marcia Hines, Chris Willis (No getting over you – David Guetta ), Siti Nurhaliza, Lil Jon, Shannon Noll, Justice Crew, Timomatic, Titanium (New Zealand) and Marvin Priest to name a few.
After signing an exclusive deal with 120 Publishing – Ministry of Sound, 2013 has seen Ron E release a number of collaborative singles in the dance music world. Most recently his single “Flashing Lights” with LA-based DJ Bass Kleph which climbed to #21 in the ARIA Club Charts and is being championed by some of dance music’s elite including the Stafford Brothers (Young Money). It was recently hand picked by Paul Oakenfold to appear on one of the biggest dance compilations in the world – “Paul Oakenfold – DJ Box”.
